Exclamation A new machine for me

A new Wolverine X4 for me. I've had my Rhino since 2004 and it has been very good to me.
It will have a new stable mate now. I've often wished that I had a 4 seater when going out into the forest.

Anyhow, I will be ending up with 6 seats, as long as someone else is driving the old one.

Steve, you are gonna love the new machine. There are a few things that take a little getting used to.

I had to sell my Rhino that I have had for a long while, but sold it to one of my buddies and he is in love with it so that makes it a lot easier.

The only thing that I don't like about the X4 is having to do all of the stuff that I want to do to it. Takes a lot of time to try to find the right things and build those that I can't find.

Oh, great! I will certainly like that. Thanks.

Did the slider wear problem work itself out?

If you ever need help or inspiration, let me know.

For example, I know of a material that is super light and stiff. Good for light duty jobs: A arm guards, splash guards, roof, doors, etc. It is called Alucobond. thin aluminum sheet (with super tough paint) on both sides of a P.E. (?) sheet. comes in a thinner variety as well. Find out all about it and get a free sample to play with.

Oh, and I have an industrial strength CAD program. I probably recorded the source somewhere. Probably in a folder for saving the installation files and password faking subprogram. For all, this applies to you. I must say that it is difficult to learn, but there is another program that goes along with it that gives you a host of guidance and practice routines.

If you are impatient there are other personal CAD out there. Just do a search. This might be the first step, letting you learn the basics first.

The wear came from bad castings on the sheaves from yamaha and all the weights was doing it ..round and ODS.. if you watch my latest video you will see that the castings are different now we have had brand-new X4's with less than 200 miles on them in our shop with badly worn weights it's not an OD problem.

We also changed the material our OD weights are made with .. new ones are rated for a higher temperature.
