Thanks. Every little bit of info will bring me up to speed. I've been in a "depression" for 5 years or so, after my wife passed away.
Still affects me, always will. But I have overcome that and feel a whole lot better about the world that I live in.
I have a new friend. Impy, a mischevious imp, He follows me around and 'tormented' me. I thought that the world was coming to an end, for me anyway.
[I] then realized these were a stream of practical jokes. When I realized what was going on, I asked him to be my friend. He does not talk back. When I asked him toshow me another trick, he would respond within a few hours, at the most. Now I allow him to steer me in the right direction. That has been an excellent guide for me.
This is what brought me out of this fugue, and I am glad for that.
I'm gathering websites that will help in finding a local distributor, and guidance on various needs.
Diebond is the little brother of Alucobond 3mm (~ 1/8") thick vs 6mm (~1/4"). Get all of the samples that you wish, to determine what panel you want to buy. Or, wait for me to further develop StSe

I will order my X4 Plain Jain and design my own accessories. I need to find someone with a laser cutter to speed up the process.
This might be fairly soon. Perhaps in a month or so? If so I will post various pix etc. for you to choose from.

nice. I sold a rhino for my teryx4. the x4 was not available when I got my teryx otherwise it would have been a hard decision for me to make.
Redneck Crazy - 2017 Teryx4 LE , 4" portals , cage chop , arched A arms , 32x10x14 pro armor crawler xg , sti hd beadlocks , winch bumper , 5,000# winch , custom snorkels.
Well, I purchased the X4 yesterday. I will pick it up this coming Wednesday.
HooRah, I will be ready for a ride. It has been abut 7 to 8 years since I went Rhino riding!
Had a heat pump installed into the house. It is great to have a heated garage. Also the air conditioning is part of the package. It does get rather warm here in Oregon, 100 dgrees F a couple of days each year.
Now ro get the shop building up. No, that wll not be heated :-(

SteveS- good to see you active on forum, I was starting to wonder how the aging was going for you, but when I see you bought another unit, let's me know the fire is still burning!
I have made some pieces out of ACM (aluminum composite material) or as commonly called Alucobond for the guys not in this field of play. I made a quickly removable roof for my Rhino in 4mm and I currently have made a set of doors in 6mm for my Wolverine. Actually I should call them mudguard personnel retainers, as they are obviously not near as heavy as a manufactured 'door' such as James makes. But they did well when I was in a left side rollover this past Xmas Eve day, lol. The stuff is great for some of these projects. I have actually used Reynobond as that is what I scrounged up from some contractor relationships. I was able to get the fire core material and even though a little heavier I like the thought of helping to eliminate the napalm effect in a potential fire scenario. I trust that you have more technical engineering knowledge of the material so look forward to any thoughts you can share.

Yeah I love the Alucobond and diebond materials. Which did you find was least expensive?
A tip on bending these materials: On a table saw or skilsaw (with a guide for squareness) Cut kerfs, Maybe 3/4way thru. Parallel kerfs all the way across. Then bend to the angle that you want. An example here:

See page 5 for the appropriate photo for the roof design.

Well, I got it. Fortunately our neighborhood dealer had just what I wanted.
Hopefully, tomorrow I'm off to the insurance company to get it on the list.
Gotta get the Miata in for an estimate on the fixing.
I ran into the back last week with my Ram 3500 dually 1 ton. great for towing and the like.
The duals on the back make it really stable when towing the toyhauler.
Did anyone look at the photobucket collection? I was hoping that I spread the word as to what can be done.
The MX54 looks like it has most everything needed. I'm thinking of windowsall around if that works out.
Always something that can be done to it. I'm antsy about this project.
On the Alucobond issue, I am placing a shortcut directly that pix. You can see the kerf cutting for a gradual bend.
It also shows a dust shield that keeps practically all dust out of the cab, at any speed but when you are stopping. The dust cloud catches up and floods the cab. I jus stop very slowly on a road such that it dissipates behind. see post #18, this thread. Page 5 on photobucket
Off to bed after I have to give AnnaBelly (my 14 year old kitten) her meds. Constipation has her not eating well.
