    X4 Soft Cab Enclosure

I have been trying to decide on a soft cab enclosure for my X4. I see that the choices are pretty much limited to either OEM or Side by Side Enclosures (out of Ohio).

Either has benefits or shortcomings, but trying to decide which one to go with prior to our trip at the end of March (2 months out).

    Side X Side Enclosures Benefits:
    -Cheaper
-Multiple different options for attachment (Adhesive Velcro, Adhesive Snaps, or Rivet Snaps)
-Can be custom made to accommodate for my Seizmek Side Mirrors

    OEM Benefits:
    -Integrated Fit (100%)
-Zippers and hardware are high quality
-Could sell the Rear Window (Seeing that I already have one)

As you can tell, I already have the OEM Rear Window, so I would have to either modify the SxS version or use their rear window. The mirror cut outs for the OEM could likely be customized locally (I am not a seamstress).

This is where I ask for help in choosing which to commit and go with. Any help and feedback is appreciated.

    Thanks.

Option 3 make your own. Its not that hard and if you tear a window your only out about $10. Clear packing tape makes a quick easy repair if it does tear. Be advised the you'll probably only get one riding season out of it. I personally like the OEM and may go that way eventually if I can find one later on that isn't so expensive. Let me know if you decide to sell your rear panel, I might be interested.

Think that I am likely going to have to go with the SidexSide Enclosures version. Now to decide if I do their rear window vs the OEM (that I have already but would require modification) and if I should go with the adhesive snaps for the securing system. Price is just about 1/2of OEM. And from the pictures the windows look more clear. Plus I like that it can be zipped off vs the windows rolled.

UTV Enclosure is a man and wife business, they have been doing covers for boats, etc for almost 30 years.

I would do drilled rivets or Velcro. At least with the Velcro you could carry some spare in case the adhesive every comes loose. With the rivets you shouldn't ever have and issue of anything ever coming loose. If a snap comes loose or you loose one, then your out of luck until you can get some more. I would think the Velcro would hold up better than the snaps too.

I read somewhere that someone wasn't happy with theirs but that was probably when they first came out. I guess you haven't had and problems and are happy?
