New shocks for the X4

From what I can tell, those are the X2 R-Spec front shocks, and those buggers are expensive. Did you go that route because you were able to find them cheap and already had springs available? Or is there something else?

Just today I was poking around the web and saw that you could order Walker Evans' Fronts for like $413 for both...

Just wondering for when the day comes that I have to part ways with the shocks that are on my X4.

Ok, I see that now. The Walker Evans' that I was looking at didn't have the high speed compression adjustment, but it has the preload. Maybe not rebound on the Walker Evans' either...
