    There is yet another aspect to this question. First there is how many Amps can you draw without burning up the alternator (commonly called the "stator").
    The other aspect would be when the engine is off and you are sitting there playing tunes. When you are done, do you have enough battery power to restart the engine? Different aspects of the same coin...... The second has to do with how many Amps can you safely pull and still get home.
