    X2 first oil change

What kind if oil should I use? Before everyone starts sayingyamalube, I live over an hour away from the closest dealership and I work 12 he shifts so that's not particular. Besides, Im sure napa or advance has something that will be just as good if not better.

Also, should I change the fluid in my differentials?

I'm using yamalube but my dealer is close and price matches. On my grizzly 660, I've been using rotella t6 for about 7ish years with good resaults. Looked it up a long time ago and said it was good for wet clutches. Safe for wet clutches is the main thing to look for. I've also read it's bad to swap to synthetic too early or before fully broken in. Good luck.

Yamalube is best, I ordered mine online. Make sure it is jaso ma2 approved on the label for wet clutch use. I would change the diffs and trans fluid too.

Did you get the owners manual? Has the oils and torque specs for drain and fill plugs. Think the yamaha website has the owners manual for download as well.

The transmission is bathed in the crankcase oil. As was said earlier, the JASO
spec is the one to meet, for when you inspect for rating viscosity and additives.
