    Error code 1

Good morning everyone, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to fix it diagnose this problem I'm having. It is a 2009 rhino 700efi. And every once in a while you'll have the display flash error code 1 and the speed shows 0. Then it will go back to working in a couple of seconds. I pull the codes Thur the display but it said I have no codes. What would y'all suggest? Thank yall

I do not know what code 1 is, but since it is sporadic ….. Check your grounding in the whole Rhino. Including battery. Then check all connections and wiring. Depending on how it is stored and corrosion and critters can make a difference.

Thank you very much. Do you know how many grounds there is on the unit to check?

Do some searching on this site..SteveS has written some great tutorials. Add a ground from frame to battery. The rectifier is grounded but poorly IIRC. The motor has a big ground cable you need to check. Don't be hestitant about adding a ground or two that all goes back to battery. The grounds can daisy chain and burn some wiring....I forget the details but you will catch on quickly when you find the correct threads. Check the 'Sticky' at beginning of Forum sections, might be there
