your assessment of the rmax is same as mine. the only thing I would add for me is that the seat bolster is too close, it needs to be moved out a few inches

It revs much harder and with more authority while the 850 is torquey. The seats are COMFORTABLE. The drive modes make a huge difference. The shocks honestly let me down a little...they are really good, but I think I was expecting a little different is all. They are very controlled at speed. But on the softest setting I expected them to be more plush. The settings are noticeably different though. For all of you X2 owners....the tailgate still rattles but the doors are SOLID. I will race them and video it this weekend as my 850 has a tune and a clutch in it.
Painted the letters on my tailgate already and will be installing a horn this weekend.

Was that your X2? Yours isn't stock is it? I thought you had a JBS sheave and Alba tune. I would think the X2 would be even further behind if your X2 didn't have those mods. Thanks for the video.

Do you think James will come out with a spring kit for the FOX shocks?

Yes that was my X2, which has the Alba tune and the JBS sheave. So I do agree it would lose by more if it was stock. The tune made it so much more fun to drive.
Side note, the 1000 will pull a lot lol. We pulled a large poplar log this past weekend with it on the farm.
And what you said about the shocks, I am hoping James or shock therapy comes out with some springs for them.
