    Ultramatic grease replacement????

    Hi all ,
I'm new here and was hoping for some insight.. I have a 2014 yamaha viking esp , I bought a jbs hot rod clutch kit sheave ect. Back in july . But havnt installed it yet due to the lack of ultramatic grease. I know this is what we are supposed to use. But I'm getting a little impatient waiting for the damn grease. I have ordered it through partzilla and it has been back ordered now until the end of December.... I've checked local dealers with no luck. Sooooo the big question is is there a suitable replacement? I know the tinkseal crap seems to be a sham! I've read that bel ray makes a grease that works. But I'm a little apprehensive using a grease that's not recommended on a clutch that I spent a lot of money on. Any help would be appreciated thanks and happy wheeling!

So you are saying that the replacement for ULTRAMATIC GREASE is poly grease? sorry just wanting clarification on this as I sunk my SXS Sunday and was planning on pulling the clutch out and cleaning and re-grease the weights, etc.

If now Yamaha is saying use the poly.....IIRC when I researched the grease a while ago, one of the qualities of this grease was its water resistance, so if this is to be used there should be little concern for wash out if in the water. The poly viscosity is heavier than the ultramatic so maybe this will be a basic engineering improvement

I don't know the reasoning Yamaha used but they are saying use the poly. I have never had a failure when using what they recommend so I'm going with it.
