Front diff removal

How hard it is to remove the front diff, I couldn’t find anything in the manual on how to remove it. I think it may be going south on me, I keep hearing a weird noise when I’m in 4wd but it doesn’t do it all the time. Just changed the right front axle and drained both front and rear diffs, the latter had water in it and both were a gray color.

I was asking because I thought there might be an issue with the front diff but turns out that after a good ride yesterday that it is fine. Think I might have a bad shock but I can live with that for now. Thanks Timmi.
