I'll stick to these little projects, I don't build enclosures. Then making it waterproof would be another issue.

the waterproof aspect is an issue, and where to put a sound system with my lowered cage.

timmi, was just looking into building my own stereo. but then i decided it was overkill and what i have is plenty. anyway, i think you could do 4- 6 1/2 inch speakers and an amp and not take up any headroom if you did a marine media player in the dash. Originally Posted by Timmi

ive seen that done on a wolvy. looks damn good. i really like that location for speakers but we always stuff our sweatshirts or rain jackets there so that option was out for me. the only available space for me was overhead.

i measured mine yesterday and i could do 8- 6 1/2inch speakers between the roof rollbars. if i wouldnt have spent so much on my stereo id do it in a heartbeat. the only thing i dont like about mine is that it sits low. building my own i could get it at least 2 inches thinner
